Anupama D’Souza
Educator:
Anupama D’Souza has a Master’s degree in English Literature. She headed the English Department in addition to being the Coordinator of the Senior Secondary Section of Jain International School, Nagpur.
She has almost three decades of experience in the teaching field under her belt, and is passionate about imparting education that goes beyond books. Her teaching stints include renowned institutions such as Delhi Public School and Army School.
Her flair for English has led her to edit the flagship magazine of several institutions with which she has been associated, in addition to training award-winning students for debates, elocutions and drama competitions.
As an Army wife, she has had stints in various cantonments across the length and breadth of the country, and counts writing as one of her interests, apart from dramatics, public speaking and personality development. She has been a regular contributor of articles in various publications.
She was awarded the General Officer Commanding’s Commendation for her outstanding role in the field of education in 2014, as Vice Principal of Army Public School,Ferozepur, Punjab
She was Chief Coordinator of an Indo- Norwegian Exchange Programme in 2018 and benefitted immensely from exposure to the educational systems in Norway, Kenya, the United Arab Emirates, Sri Lanka, and Nepal. She believes that education is a lifelong process and is grateful that her students have inspired her to constantly set the bar higher.
